"

"Ye Olde Cross Gates Inn" dates back to 1643 when it was owned by the Morris family. Thomas Wilde bought it in 1712 and is said to have enlarged it by incorporating it with a nearby house. Today, Ye Olde Cross Gates Inn has been transformed into a modern day country inn and restaurant.

Food at Ye Olde Cross Gates Inn is everything you would expect where you can relax and enjoy mouth watering home cooked food using locally sourced fresh ingredients.

Our lunch and evening menus are available daily. Sundays are always a busy day and we believe our carvery to be one of the best in the area.

Our private function room can accommodate up to 40 guests for a formal sit down meal or up to 60 guests for buffets. Menus can be designed to suit your tastes and budget.
